Linear feeders are vibratory devices which feed parts along their track. Usually they are combined with a vibratory bowl feeder, stepper feeder or drum feeder. The main task of linear feeders is to transport parts from the vibratory bowl’s exit to the escapement unit. Inline feeders act as a storage of correctly ordered parts to be used from the automatic machine. Different sizes and path lengths exist:
